I have no doubt that some people are, in fact, stupid enough to dislike Hillary solely because she is a woman. However, plenty of us dislike her for reasons that have nothing to do with her sex. I, for example, absolutely despise her, and will not vote at all, if she is to become the Democratic nominee, but my hatred has nothing to do with her sex. Just as my support for Obama has nothing to do with his sex or race.
The video makes a particular accusation against Obama and his supporters, which is hardly justified, especially since the accusation can be easily reversed. Obama has faced plenty of attacks based on color of his skin (“Barack the Magic Negro”), foreign sounding name (Osama-Obama), suspicions of not being Christian, etc. Hillary is not defending him either. Nor should she. In fact, implication, that Hillary needs a man (e.g. Obama) to protect her from sexist attacks is quite sexist to begin with.
Sure some people in Obama camp are sexist. Unfortunately, statistically speaking, many of us are sexist, many others are racist, and plenty are in fact both. So some Obama supporters are sexist. And some Hillary supporters are racist (anyone who lived in the South knows all too well why Hillary won in West Virginia.) So what? What does it prove other than the sad state of our society?
Reasons to oppose Hillary that have nothing to do with gender:
Senator Clinton voted to give Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld carte blanche to invade and destroy and destabilize Iraq.
Senator Clinton trusts doctors and insurance companies to be the ones to be in charge of "reforming" health care.
She represents the marketing of fame, exploiting a famous name, just like Dubya did.
She was a carpetbagger, using the Demo machinery and her money to move to New York to exploit an election she could win.
She is an extreme Zionist. [Oh yeah, they all are.]
